Purpose
These guidelines shall exist to better serve Stewartville youth-related functions. The Stewartville Booster clubs list of in-kind donations will be eliminated. School Year Availability September 4, 2018 – May 31, 2019 – M, T, TH, F
Bonner will be open until 8:00 p.m. and Bear Cave Intermediate will be open until 9:00 p.m. Mon- Fri for scheduled events and practices. They are both closed to weekend events and practices. MS/HS will be open from 6:30 a.m-9:00 p.m Mon-Fri for events and practices scheduled. The MS/HS will be available for scheduled use9:00 a.m-4:00 p.m on Saturdays. Events and tournaments may be scheduled between 8:00 a.m and 5:00 p.m. Set-up time for the event shall be given while making the reservation. Ending hours are flexible as tournaments and sporting events may run over. The MS/HS will be available for scheduled practices and tournaments 1:00-7:00 p.m on Sundays. NOTE: All school-affiliated activities take precedence when scheduling. Practice times can only be allocated when space is available. All gyms are closed during holidays. Practice times for teams 8th grade and under should not be scheduled on Wednesdays. Summertime Availability June – August 2019
No Saturday or Sunday events, practices, or gatherings are to be scheduled at any of the buildings. The only exceptions are tournaments scheduled at the MS/HS. Bonner and Bear Cave Intermediate are closed during the dates listed above (except for preapproved events). MS/HS will be open and staffed from 7:00 a.m-8:00 p.m Mon through Thurs. The latest any event, practice, or gathering can run is until 8 pm. The doors get locked at 8 pm and everyone needs to exit the building as soon as feasibly possible afterward. MS/HS will be staffed on Fridays from 7:00 a.m-4:00 p.m. Same rules apply as mentioned above. Assigning Time
All scheduled youth events will be coordinated through a district youth sport rental coordinator. Each team (traveling, JO, etc.) can schedule a maximum of 1.5-hour practices two times a week during the school year allotted hours. Individual coaches are not to contact the Community Ed office. Coaches must utilize a youth sports coordinator in order to obtain gym space during the athletic season. Youth Rental Fees
