Stewartville Public Schools

Special Education services at Stewartville Public Schools provide inclusive and comprehensive educational programs for students with disabilities, from birth through 21 years of age, in compliance with Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. Consultation, assessment, direct and indirect instructional programming in all disability areas are available based upon the student’s individual needs. Each student who receives special education services must meet State of Minnesota mandated eligibility criteria, and have an Individual Education Program (IEP) which describes the student’s present level of performance, special education needs, goals, objectives, and services.
