School Closings/Late Start/Early Dismissal
Due to inclement weather, school hours may be changed or canceled.  Should this happen, the following items become very important:
  • Your child should know how he or she is to proceed, such as: ride the bus home, don't ride the bus, go to Tiger Time, etc.  PLEASE HAVE A STANDARD BACK-UP PLAN IN PLACE AHEAD OF TIME.
  • Please use your established plan, and refrain from calling the school to leave a message for your child if possible.
  • If there is a school cancellation, late start or early release, a Skylert will be sent out to all families.  You may also tune into a local radio/TV station for the latest school closing information.
Please update your contact information in Family Access to ensure proper notification.

Winter Outerwear

Winter weather is continuing!  Please send appropriate outerwear with your child daily.  This includes a warm coat, snow pants, boots, mittens, hats, etc.  The students are required to spend time outside during recess every day.  If there is snow on the ground students are required to have appropriate dress, or they will play on blacktop only.  Thank you for your understanding!

Lost and Found
There are many items in the Lost and Found!  Please have your child check the lost and found table in the cafeteria for any items that might belong to them.  Items that are not claimed are donated to a charity organization after each quarter.

Milk Moola Program Ending - Turn in items by March 15
Kwik Trip's Milk Moola reimbursement program is ending!  This program has been a significant part of SEPTA's fundraising both with Santa Shop and throughout the year, and although we are sad to see it end, we are grateful for Kwik Trip's generosity through the years.  We'd like to make the most of the opportunity to raise these funds while we still can, and you can help by sending in all remaining Milk Moola items to the school by March 15th, to give SEPTA time to get them counted and turned in before the March 31st deadline.  Please spread the word!  Thank you to all of you who have been diligent in clipping and saving these items to help fund school activities.  You may still turn in Box Tops for Education at the office, as well.
Kwik Trip gift cards and car wash cards are available in a variety of denominations and make great gifts! Please email SEPTA at if you would like to place an order or have any questions.  Thank you for your continued support of SEPTA!
