Milk Moola Program Ending - Turn in items by March 15
Kwik Trip's Milk Moola reimbursement program is ending!  This program has been a significant part of SEPTA's fundraising both with Santa Shop and throughout the year, and although we are sad to see it end, we are grateful for Kwik Trip's generosity through the years.  We'd like to make the most of the opportunity to raise these funds while we still can, and you can help by sending in all remaining Milk Moola items to the school by March 15th, to give SEPTA time to get them counted and turned in before the March 31st deadline.  Please spread the word!  Thank you to all of you who have been diligent in clipping and saving these items to help fund school activities.  You may still turn in Box Tops for Education at the office, as well.
Free Family Dance at Bonner
Bonner music instructor, Lara Smoley, has coordinated with professional dance caller, Sue Hulsether, to provide a FREE Family Dance, along with a live band, on Thursday, April 4th, 6:00 - 7:30 PM, in the Bonner Gym.  For more information about Sue, please click here to view her website.  Come and bring the whole family for this fun event!
Cookies for Cans Food Drive
The annual Taher-sponsored "Cookies for Cans" food drive to collect food for Channel One Food Bank will take place the week of March 11th - 14th.  If able, all Bonner and BCI students are encouraged to bring non-perishable food (canned/boxed) to the school by the deadline of Thursday, March 14th (there is no school on Friday, March 15th - Teacher Workday).  These items will be picked up by Channel One to be available for those in need in our community.  Last year a total of 435 pounds of food was collected in the district - let's see if we can top that this year!  All students will be treated to a cookie with their school lunch on March 14th, to celebrate their spirit of giving!
SEPTA Spring Fundraiser
The 2019 Spring Fundraiser has begun!  This is an opportunity to help raise the funds needed for field trips, etc. that enhance our students learning.  The support of all Bonner students and their families is appreciated!  This year, you can help by selling subscriptions (new or renewal) of the Stewartville Star, (checks payable to Stewartville Star) or by selling Meat Sticks (checks payable to SEPTA).  Orders/payments are due by Monday, March 25th.  If you choose not to sell these items, you may make a donation to SEPTA instead.  Meat sticks that are ordered are to be picked up by your family at the cafeteria at Central Education Center, 301 2nd Street S.W., on Tuesday, April 23rd, from 5 - 6 PM, and delivered to those your child sold them to.   Thank you for your help with this endeavor!

This is the fourth year in a row that Bonner is in the top ten school districts in the state of Minnesota to raise the highest amount of funds for the American Heart Association. I'm beyond proud of our Bonner students. Each year they are dedicated to this program, and work hard to save lives and make a difference. I am also grateful to be a part of such a supportive and generous community.
Together we are making a difference!  Mrs. Strobel
